A typical weekend adventure

Friday late afternoon meet the skipper onboard Quantum Leap at Haslar Marina. Introduction to the boat and safety briefing by the skipper. Leave the marina for a short sail outside Portsmouth Harbour, learn to get the sails up and handle the boat. Back to to the marnia for a meal together and discuss the plan for the following day

Saturday morning, up early for a hearty breakfast together. Spend the morning learning to sail around the Eastern Solent. Anchor for lunch at Chichester or off Bembridge. In the afternoon explore the Solent, arriving at Lymington or Yarmouth early evening. Share a relaxing meal together onboard and maybe explore the town a little.

Sunday morning, another hearty breakfast (sailing gives you a great appetite). Sail down the Needles Channel, getting a real close up of the famous rocks. Sail round the south of the Isle of Wight, experiencing real open water. Arrive back at Haslar late afternoon, reluctantly depart for home!
